Balitang Vancouver is the first independently produced local newscast about the Filipino community in BC. It is the only Filipino show aired on local channel, not cable, which is Omni Channel 8. SURREY, British Columbia- Talents from the “FYE Live” and their promoter, Maxipro Entertainment Inc. have formalized their tieup with the signing of “artist management agreement” at the Reyfort Media Group studio January 28. Performers who were minors were represented by their parents in the signing of the four-paged contract and a special power of attorney that would bind both parties for a year with a “four-year annual irrevocable option.”

VANCOUVER - The Filipino Channel (TFC) proved once more that they can draw people power with their “kapamilya” artists when thousands of Pinoy-Canucks from all over British Columbia trekked to the Forum of the Pacific National Exhibition for the 2011 Christmas Gifts & Food Fair event, dubbed as “Pasko Na Namang Muli..sa PNE!”

The Philippine Summer Festival

British Columbia's signature Filipino event celebrated in the Summer of each year is still the biggest gathering of Filipinos in the province.
